I am excited to begin my twenty-second year at Harper ISD. I have twenty eight years of experience in education. I began teaching 3rd grade at Harper Elementary in 2003. Over the course of the years I have served as an elementary teacher, District Testing Coordinator, and Middle School Principal. Each job I have held I have been blessed with great students, parents, co-workers, and administrators. I feel very fortunate to work in a small, close knit community that supports education, the schools, teachers, and the students.  

I attended Schreiner University and earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science. Years later I returned to Schreiner University and earned my Master of Education degree. I have 28 years of experience in education. My husband, Scott, is a Harper High School graduate. We recently celebrated twenty-three years of marriage.  In my spare time, I enjoy the great outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
